olden Sandalwood Organic Ancient Arbor Ripe Pu’er Tea
Presented in an elegant gift box, each 200g cake is crafted from sun-dried large-leaf tea leaves harvested in 2021 from the Tianyangyi Organic Certified Tea Garden in Jingdong County, Pu’er, Yunnan. Strictly adhering to the GB/T22111 National Standard, the tea undergoes fermentation in 2022 and is pressed in 2024 using traditional compression techniques. Sourced from certified organic ancient arbor tea gardens nestled between the Wuliang Mountain and Ailao Mountain in Pu’er’s core tea-growing region, the gardens are located in the Yinsheng Ancient City (21°-23°N latitude), adjacent to the core zone of the Jingdong Wuliang Mountain and Ailao Mountain National Nature Reserve. Situated in high-altitude, mist-shrouded mountains with year-round mild humidity and fertile soil, this terroir provides an unparalleled environment for ancient tea trees. The unique “Hat-and-Belt” ecological system—where summit forests form a natural barrier, while camphor and cedar trees diffuse light and enrich the soil—ensures pristine tea quality, yielding a liquor with a velvety texture and lingering sandalwood aroma. When stored in a clean, well-ventilated, light-protected, dry, and odor-free environment, the tea gracefully ages for up to 20 years, deepening in complexity over time. From mountain to cup, this tea preserves its untamed mountain essence and natural purity.
Brewing Method
Prepare Tools: Use a purple clay teapot or gaiwan (150-200ml). Rinse the vessel with boiling water to warm it.
Rinse the Tea: Add 8-10g of tea leaves, pour in boiling water, and discard immediately (1 rinse) to awaken the tea’s aroma.
First Infusion: Refill with boiling water, steep for 10 seconds, then pour out. Enjoy the initial aroma or use this brew to further warm the teapot.
Brewing Cycle:
Infusions 1-3: Pour boiling water from a high position, steep for 5-8 seconds. The liquor will be golden and translucent, with subtle sandalwood notes.
Infusions 4-6: Extend steeping to 10-15 seconds for a fuller body and enhanced sweetness.
Later Infusions: Gradually increase steeping time by 5-10 seconds per brew. The tea can endure 15+ infusions, ending with a clean, sweet finish.
Serving Tip: Enjoy hot, paired with light snacks to accentuate the sandalwood fragrance and layered complexity.
A cup of Golden Sandalwood ripe tea is not just a beverage—it embodies the harmony of nature, craftsmanship, and time-honored tradition.
